Bringing Peace through the Arts

Project : Peace

We have been giving away art to families that have bore a great tragedy.

We find these families and will cry and cry, cry some more...

For years…

Some cases it will be a child who was killed, other cases are usually the hardest cases that involve many tears…

Our hope is to bring Peace back into these families.

Most (if not all) of the time, they have never heard of Project: Peace and we have only heard of them through news agencies. Someone is contacted anonymously where a valid address can be found; usually through verification of someone who knows the family, directly. All copyrights are released to the family and they may make legal copies; so they may give to other family members who cared for this child who are unknown.

We are the mission…

Not everyone can draw, but many are responsible for this being possible. You can be part of the mission…

Whether you are an artist, or you can help financially.

In each drawing, the child is portrayed in a state of happiness, with beams of light shining from behind their precious heads;

Hoping that the ones who are left with the

child’s absence,

can feel peace knowing their

child’s innocence.

“You brought her and Paul and her parents to absolute tears. They couldn’t believe the generosity of a total stranger and the time you put into that beautiful picture of him. Taylor was so amazed to see his little left ear crinkle in your work 🩵 One of her favorite little quirks about him.

She immediately hung it in their home!

  • From the Mother

“I just don’t have enough words to tell you how much I love love the picture (and I know Nathan and Tony will too). This is so beautiful!! I just said the other day I wish we had a picture of Haley holding JP and my prayer was answered. I will treasure this always. Thank you for all your prayers and time spent drawing this picture. Love you!!! ❤️”

  • From the Father

We are all in tears. Who ever did this THANK YOU.

[His drawing] has already found a place on our mantel”

  • From the Mother

“[Her] picture hangs in my house and I look at it everyday and am so thankful for it. [Her] picture meant so much to me in my early stages of grief and I am forever grateful.”

  • From the Mother

“Receiving Bradyn’s drawing was so special for me…just the thought of someone to care so much about someone whom they have never met…to do something so sentimental…meant so much. I have the drawing on my shelf in my bedroom.

Bradyn is the first face I wake up to in the morning, and the last face I see before going to bed.”

“…I just wanted to thank you so very much for the sketch of Nathan. It’s amazing, it surely blessed my heart this morning."

“Hi! I just received [this] blessing. Trudy just gave me the picture you created of Sydney. You have no idea what this means to me and John…God works in mysterious ways. I can tell you more details, but this picture and receiving today, God knew.

    He has the perfect timing.

    What a blessing [Project:Peace]”

Each drawing is delivered matted, framed, and with a sympathy card to the family from Project: Peace.

We have been doing all of this out-of-pocket, and can’t keep up with rising costs all on our own.

We wish to be able to do this Full Time one day; however, at this time, it isn’t possible.

We hope to do this, Full time

Maybe one day, start a nonprofit where we can hire more artists, and our only mission is to deliver Peace; in the form of an affirmation that their child is at Peace.

This is not for us, this is for them.

If you wish to donate to Project: Peace…any amount helps:

  • $1 can buy the paper I draw on…

  • $2 will get the tools I draw with…

  • $3 - $5 covers the packaging materials…

  • $5 - $8 can get these portraits framed…

  • $10 - $15 can get these portraits to their families…

Anything over that gives this gift to multiple families

Together, we can bring Peace back into the world,

one child at a time…
